Race Report: Battling the Winds at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway

The past month has been non-stop for me, but last weekend at CVMA Racing was a strong one! Bryce and I were setting the pace all weekend, with our BPR bikes clocking the fastest times every time we hit the track.

In qualifying, I secured P2, just 0.072 seconds behind Bryce and only 0.32 seconds off the outright lap record of 1:42.888, set by Dave Anthony a few years ago. That was a huge confidence boost, knowing we were right on the edge of record-breaking pace.

However, the weekend races presented a new challenge—30-40 mph winds. I’m not used to racing in conditions like that, and it definitely threw me off. It’s something I need to work on, but despite the struggle, I still managed to bring home three 2nd place finishes and one 3rd place finish.

The biggest takeaway? Our BPR Racing bike is dialed in. These results wouldn’t be possible without my incredible team, and I can’t thank them enough for their support. We’ll keep pushing forward and building momentum for the season ahead!
